Product comparison feature

During the excite our customer was telled that a product concrete comparions feature exists out of the box.
I wasn't able to find any matching module in the code or the documention.

Is there such a module and I just did not find it or isn't there one?

In the last project we started and had a need for this, there wasn't any functionality like this - or we did not find it :D
We build it on our on directly into PYZ.
