Sounds like an accidential typo in this class. Maybe check class contents against https://github.com/spryker/kernel/blob/master/src/Spryker/Shared/Kernel/Store.php (note: be aware of checking the correct version of spryker/kernel you have installed vs. tag/version in github repo)

Sorry, I am not familiar with your setup or setup Spryker on AWS. By documentation you should have created a ".htpasswd" file (previously), but it seems to be for jenkins. I would guess, that you should not see a password prompt for accessing the shop frontend, but it's only a guess. Sorry.
