    Here is a feedback from our development:

    The behaviour of the plugin that was syncing quotes to the session and was creating them if they were absent has been changed.
    With a new major of carts-rest-api it's not needed anymore.
    So it turned out that customers-rest-api minor/patch needs a migration guide.
    
    Or you just have to create a new cart additionally with a separate request.
